As ILF Samanvay enters its fifth edition, it turns more democratic in its planning and organisation. It endeavours to bring in active participation from students and young people belonging to varied lingual backgrounds with an aim of blowing fresh enthusiasm into the festival. We believe that the incorporation of youth volunteers not only infuses liveliness into the events but also generates new ideas in tune with the times. Accordingly, ILF Samanvay 2015 has provided an opportunity to its high-spirited volunteers to plan, organise and hold a session of their choice in tune with the decided theme. A session on Tibetan writing has thus been designed as a part of this year’s festival by our young volunteers.

We are providing more opportunities to students and others to volunteer in various functional areas as we march up to the festival scheduled from November 26-29, 2015. This is hoped to nurture talent on the one side and to bring the youth closer to the cultural fabrication of their country. ILF Samanvay is thus envisaging and manifesting itself as a people’s movement for free cultural expression.

Spread over four days with multiple events, ILF Samanvay demands hard work and immeasurable investment of time and energy for its organisation. Planning and execution involve different groups of people, employing their faculties at different levels. The synchronisation of working abilities of people in different age and social groups, talents and thought patterns is sought.
